For this project, we were required to create a 4-5 minute animated video based on something we hold near and dear to us. I chose to make my video about Goodyear Tire and the effects it's had on the city of Akron, Ohio. I chose this topic because I live about 10 minutes away from Akron and also live on the same street as the Goodyear Blimp Hangar and Wingfoot Lake. This company played a huge role in the revolution of vehicles, but also contributed a lot of damage to the city. The video aims to educate the viewer on a brief history of the company and get them thinking of whether the great revolution was worth the damage caused to the city and employees.
